because I know that I probably wont get a chance to take a picture later, a quick self portrait will have to do! The next few weeks I have tons of shoots booked and I am super excited. Best of all, I get to work with the lovely Laura Ahrens again!

Today consisted of work and driving out to Chateau Briand catering hall to tour with an October bride! It was a long day and left me with nothing but the night sky to work with. Luckily enough the stars were able to  paint it beautifully for me!

Today I was supposed to have a shoot with two beaut twins, but we have postponed it to a later date! I am still super excited for that and all of its outcomes. I tried to chase the sun and get it just in time, It's become a normality for all of my shoots.

So I finally came to a day where I really had to force myself to go and take a picture. I was wondering when this day would come, a week in.. a little pathetic haha! It wasn't really so much that I didn't want to take an image; I just truly never got a chance. Between work and meeting with a client this evening for an exciting new photo job I'm pretty exhausted. 

I went outside barefoot dancing around slugs and dirt and everything else the ground welcomed to attempt some long exposures when I got home. Unhappy with them all I've settled for some simple self portraits.

Now I deserve a warm comfy bed to curl up in, one week accomplished!

        To be honest I don't know if I completely have confidence in myself that I can successfully complete a 365. This would mean a photograph taking each day, with effort and creativity put in (snap shots/phone pictures don't count.) I feel like I need to do this not only to improve my art work, but to improve who I am. I think it will help me find myself and discover any little loose ends..

         I'm so absorbed in work for clients that I think I sometimes forget how much I truly love creating an image. Something solely mine, my own creation. I think as an artist it's important to not loose touch of what got you where you are. Well, I suppose if you are reading this in 365 days future me, Congratulations.
